cupcakes

Makenzie and I have been appreciating pictures of beautiful cupcakes like these lately:


So we decided to try to make some designer cupcakes of our own while the boys were at the cabin. We colored the frosting and piped it onto the cupcakes:


And even added sugar pearls for the final touches:


I'm thinking ours aren't quite cupcake calendar material, but we were pretty pleased with our day of creating:








We especially enjoyed spending the day together :-)
