birthday parties

Luke was invited to a birthday party today at Bouncin' Bears. Joel was still at camp, so he didn't get to enjoy the running and bouncing. But Luke, Makenzie, and Seth sure did!

Luke helped Seth several times:

This would've been a really cute picture of the boys sliding down together, Luke's arms around Seth -- so sweet. But this is a very realistic picture! While in this play place, the kids are just a blur :-)

Makenzie played with another first-grader's older sister most of the time. I was glad she had a playmate, too. She did bounce with Seth for a little while, too, though.

Now it's time to prepare for Joel's birthday parties :-) He'll be ELEVEN on Monday! Tomorrow is the entire family party, and then Monday will be our own family party. I'm really not ready for either one :-)

today's song: "There Will be a Day" by Jeremy Camp

There will be a day
With no more tears
No more pain
And no more fears!
